Our Story

We are often asked how we came up with the name Peacock Alley. Our unique name has a lot of sentimental value behind it as we named our business in honor of our founder’s late mother who passed away from cancer. She left the family many fine linens from the luxury linen company, Peacock Alley. To us, Peacock Alley is a name that honors our deceased mother and represents high quality, good taste, and the great feeling of having a comfortable and beautiful home.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!! I could not of had a better experience working with Michael and the Peacock Alley team. I will say they were a little more expensive then most of the quotes that I received (not the most expensive), but I’m so glad I went with them! It was worth every penny I didn’t have to worry about my project the entire time.  I’ve been through multiple remodels in my biggest fear is having a bad contractor like I’ve had in the past. I didn’t get that feeling once with him, and although they were a minor hiccups, they handled an extreme professional, and I felt very confident that it would turn out exactly the way I want by the way they jumped to the issue. AND DID IT!! I am in love with every square inch of my house now. I could not recommend them more!

We first met with Michael to go over the scope of work, and they followed up with a detailed quote and general timeline. Once we agreed on the timeline, we had a pre-demo meeting to confirm the items we needed to order and worked with their designer to finalize those selections. We ordered our hardware, vanity, lighting, and other materials from a variety of vendors, and Peacock Alley was great about coordinating everything and helping us navigate the process. Like any renovation, there were a few mix-ups and unexpected issues along the way, but Dan and the entire Peacock Alley team were responsive, professional, and made everything right each time. From demo to being able to use our shower again was about 2.5 months, and we are very happy with the finished bathroom. Renovations can be stressful, but we felt like Peacock Alley was there to help throughout the process. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering a bathroom renovation!

Our remodel turned out spectacular. Both Michael and Dan were super responsive and detail oriented. Holly was instrumental with pulling everything together with hardware, wall coverings, and lighting. What I appreciated most is that the job doesn’t get started until all the materials are gathered snd ready for installation, making the process seamless from beginning to end.

Working with Michael was such a great experience from start to finish. He is incredibly efficient, professional, confident, and genuinely a dream to work with. One of the things I appreciated most was how communicative he was throughout the entire remodel. I always knew what was happening, what the next steps were, and what to expect along the way. We moved to St. Pete a year ago and had large built-ins and other smaller changes made to our new house. Literally everything Peacock handled for us was perfect and has held up perfectly. The built-ins cover a full wall and look like they've always been there!

We just finished an extensive remodel of our home with Michael and Dan and are thrilled with the result. Our 30 year old home looks brand new with high end finishes and excellent craftsmanship throughout. Our project entailed interior and exterior renovations including replacing windows and flooring, totally reconfiguring our kitchen, and updating three bathrooms. Throughout, Michael was always available to guide our design choices and Dan made sure that our vision was brought to life. The subcontractors that they work with are very professional and were respectful of the fact that we were staying in the house during the renovation process. What could have been a stressful process was actually enjoyable -- although we are happy to have it done! We highly recommend the professionals at Peacock Alley Remodeling and are looking forward to working with them again when we are ready to update our master bedroom.
